Axcis Education is looking on behalf of a vibrant, multi-cultural primary school in the centre of Southwark serving a diverse community for experienced Teaching Assistants.
The school are seeking to expand their SEN Team with five experienced Teaching Assistants to support and further meet the needs of their pupils with ASD. They are looking for practitioners who are able to contribute to the planning, differentiation and assessment of the curriculum for individual pupils in partnership with the class teacher.
If you have:
Experience and a working knowledge of supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum
A desire to face a new challenge
An ability to build positive relationships and work well with children who have a special educational need
A positive, warm and nurturing approach to all children
Patience, creativity and flexibility
High expectations and a commitment to supporting all children to achieve their full potential
A professional attitude towards working with others, including a range of outside agencies
