A Complex needs teacher is required to start in September to teach full time in a special needs school.
You will be working with a class of 6 students with various learning needs including autism, severe learning difficulties and students who are physically disabled. There are two learning support assistants in the class who know the students well and look after personal care, as well as supporting their learning.
This is a very small school with a real feeling of community. Staff work closely in small teams and have strong links with parents and carers.
The ideal teacher will have worked in a special needs school previously, however your application will still be considered if you have taught SEN within a mainstream setting.
