A part-time member of staff is required to work with small groups of socially and emotionally disadvantaged primary aged students in this west London primary school. The position could be made full-time for the right person. The role involves supporting a statemented child in Y6 and supporting nurture groups in the afternoon with a focus more on art, and soft music following PSHE programmes. The job requires a lot of common sense in responding to childrens needs You must have prior experience of working with children, and in particular writing up assessments and liaising with external bodies such as social services to support their learning.
