Calthorpe School is an all age special school catering for pupils with complex and severe learning difficulties. We have pupils aged 2-19 years and are looking to appoint a Inclusion Manager to develop and enhance our current provision and work alongside other specialists to maximise opportunities for inclusion/enrichment and aid transition from year 9.
As part of your role you will lead the team of learning mentors to develop suitable inclusion/enrichment activities both in and out of school. You will also work in conjunction with the vocational mentor and enhanced learners co-ordinator to develop and increase opportunities for work experience and apprenticeships. You will be the link for the school with these relevant specialist parties.
As part of your role you will also work with pupils, (14-19) and their parents, staff and outside agencies to ensure that the school fully supports pupils requiring help to overcome barriers to transition and offer advice and participate in educational, social and vocational opportunities where relevant. As a manager you will be required to review the activities and monitor and evaluate these areas ensuring an equality of provision.
