An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Head with ASD experience who will be required by a Secondary Special School from the early part of the Autumn term. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leadership team working with pupils with autistic spectrum/communication disorders. Children at the school have learning difficulties, ranging from moderate to severe. All pupils have an impairment in social, language and communication, thought and behaviour. Pupils are from a range of social and ethnic backgrounds.
The school is committed to meeting a range of needs. The contribution each pupil makes towards school life is valued. The school encourages close working relationships between staff, parents/carers and professional bodies to meet targets.
