Axcis Education are looking for a 1:1 Outreach Tutor to work with pupils aged 11-19 of all abilities, within a range of educational programmes across an alternative SEND school in Torbay. Pupils who attend have diagnosed or undiagnosed SEND barriers, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. This is a full-time role - working Monday to Friday -8.30-4.00pm. For this position, the daily rate of pay will be between £85-100 a day, depending on your previous experience. You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for this position. The school implement the thrive approach to support the emotional and social development of all pupils and have licensed practitioners at the school. Pupils are carefully assessed allow the college to understand their readiness and ability to engage in learning. A personalised learning programme is formed from the assessment and emotional development is carefully tracked each term. Depending on their age, pupils engage with a broad curriculum, or work towards obtaining GCSEs, functioning skills qualifications (level 1 and 2), or BTEC qualifications.
