Main responsibilities of the post:

Leadership

To play a major role in monitoring and evaluating the curriculum and quality of teaching in Key Stage 2

To work with a strong Management Team in the development of School Self-Evaluation processes
Class responsibility

Initially it is hoped that the appointee will be a super numerary and able to commence with class support and other activities
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

A proven track record as an excellent classroom practitioner

Extensive experience of the implementation of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum

High expectations and a commitment to raising standards of attainment for children of all abilities

The ability to motivate, inspire and lead colleagues
