ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER
Salary Range L2-6
£33,237 to £36,375 p.a. inc.
This newly created post is an excellent career opportunity. You will work in close partnership with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in continuing to lead forward our hardworking, happy and improving school.

Main responsibilities of the post:

Leadership

To play a major role in monitoring and evaluating the curriculum and quality of teaching in Key Stage 2

To work with a strong Leadership Team in the development of school Self-Evaluation processes

Class Responsibility - Year 6 initially

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

A proven record as an excellent classroom practitioner

Extensive experience of the implementation of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum

High expectations and a commitment to raising standards of attainment for children of all abilities

The ability to motivate, inspire and lead colleagues
