Continued Professional Development (CPD) training with Axcis
Materials available to you in the office include, copies of Curriculum/Assessment materials including DCFS updates. We also have exam board syllabi and material for all Key Stages. Remember, photocopying is free of charge. We also offer free access to the internet so you can browse for additional resources and classroom material which can be printed. Support surgeries are offered on a half termly basis.
At Axcis we are committed to your Continued Professional Development and will be adding more course details to the website in the near future.
Induction Seminars 2010
To ensure our supply teachers know all about the UK National Curriculum and supply teaching we would like to invite you to an Induction Seminar.
The Induction Seminar is recommended to all Overseas Trained Teachers (OTTs), Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) or anyone else new to teaching in the UK. The National Curriculum (NC), Legalities of Supply, format of supply teaching and other matters are discussed, to ensure you are up to speed with the UK system.
These are held on the last Thursday of every month from 5.30pm to 7.30pm (unless otherwise stated) at Circus House. This is also a great chance to meet and chat with other teachers in similar situations to yourself.
