What made you want to teach in the UK?

Just to gain experience.

Did you need a Visa? If so, what Visa are you on? How hard was it to get?

Yes, working holiday visa, really easy.

When you arrived did you have friends/family to stay with?

Yes, stayed with friends

How have you found teaching in London? Good points?

The same as in Australia, just more documents needed

What things should teachers be aware of when planning to come here?

Be aware of CRB checks and NQT status

Have you any regrets?

No!

Have you done much travelling (if they have been here a while)? What destinations?

Yes, All over Europe, Middle East, South America – got bitten by the travel bug!

Would you recommend the London experience to other Australian teachers? Why and what have you enjoyed?

Yes! Just to gain more experience to further my teaching career.
