About Axcis Education Recruitment
The London office was opened in July 2002 and has grown based on our quality of service to clients and candidates and our commitment to education. Axcis only works in the education recruitment sector and all our resources and experience is dedicated to this.
We are proud of our achievements and hugely grateful to the schools, teachers and other professionals who have given us their loyalty and support. Our main focus is placing teachers and other professionals into SEN posts, in schools, special units and other locations. We have a dedicated team of consultants, resourcers and administrators that includes many former teachers, and each school and candidate has their own consultant as a main point of contact.
Our Special Needs expertise is exceptional and we recruit and help train candidates with experience and an interest in all kinds of Special Needs. We have Team Teach trained Consultants and aim to train as many of our candidates as possible. We are also working on developing our links and training for PECS, TEACCH and all kinds of signing.
Axcis finds and recruits the very best teachers and education professionals from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and other countries to work in London and other Home County schools in the NW, NE and SW of England as well as parts of the Midlands with our other offices based in Liverpool, Sheffield, West Midlands and Bristol, and we hope to cover the rest of the UK soon. We strive to find our client schools the very best available candidates who share our level of commitment to the education of our young people and realise just how important it is to the future of this country. We provide induction training to all our staff and especially OTTs (Overseas Trained Teachers) and NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers), as well as offering regular CPD Training (Continued Professional Development) for all candidates.
At Axcis we are happy to pay our candidates among the highest rates in the sector, while keeping costs to schools at a fair level with no inflated margins. We value our teachers and support staff and their skills, loyalty, professionalism and sheer hard work in a tough job.
