There is great demand for specialist candidates here and we are always on the look-out for teaching assistants with EBD and ASD training, Team Teach qualified teachers, staff with experience in HI and VI, and PMLD candidates as well as school nurses. We understand your needs and are one of the few agencies that will look after you to the best of our ability. We always endeavour to match the right candidate to the right school so that both parties gain the desired advantage of a happy working relationship.
As part of our commitment to SEND and education we also conduct regular training courses for both candidates and clients alike, many of which are subsidized by Axcis to be offered at minimal cost and sometimes FREE to you. We are looking forward to a number of exciting events:

Mainstream Teachers interested in transforming to SEN
Even though our main focus is on servicing SEN schools, we often service mainstream schools as well and we therefore understand that there are many mainstream teachers that would like to work within special needs but are not sure how to transfer their valuable teaching skills to make that transition. Well, we are here to help you!
We have supported many mainstream teachers in the transition of becoming SEN teachers - after all it’s quite likely that you would have come across ASD, Dyslexia, EBD or some form of MLD within your classes.
If you wish to develop your career in this area one option would be to become a teaching assistant within an SEN school for a few weeks so that you can gain experience as well as observe the teaching techniques used by the class teacher. This will also allow you the opportunity to decide what special needs you would be comfortable working with long term or permanently, and will also help you to develop your career and skills.
Register with us and our team will endeavour to find you the best opportunity to suit your skills.
You may also visit our jobs section for information on current vacancies.
